Baby yoga experience at OneSpace Kidbrooke Jan and Feb 2019

Baby yoga experience at OneSpace Kidbrooke Jan and Feb 2019

Ideal experience for babies three months to pre-walkers. Mums, dads or main caregivers welcome.

Baby yoga helps stimulate babies’ nervous systems, strengthens their muscles and encourages sensory integration. Movement is vital to babies’ development so we do a lot of that in baby yoga! Baby yoga is sensory rich with yoga asanas for babies, swings, dips, holds, walks, singing, massage, music, play and relaxation. This is about being present and enjoy bonding time with your baby, socialising with other families. I add on rhymes and songs to make it more fun and easier to remember.

This experience includes five sessions of an hour long at OneSpace Kidbrooke.

Fridays 1pm - 2pm

25th January, 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd February 2019

If you book a block of classes, you have laminated handouts at the end. Also, by booking a block of five sessions you are eligible for a free replacement class later in the year (either in baby massage or baby yoga, subject to availability with catch up classes, but I always try to make it work for you in case you miss a session for whatever reason).

I also have a system of enjoy-as-you-go, where you can book as and when you want to join a class. In this case, you get coconut oil and electronic handouts in your first class, and laminated handouts with 3 classes or more. Enjoy-as you-go needs to be booked online too, the scheduling booking system is available here.

Babies with additional health care needs are welcome, you will fill out a questionnaire when you click on checkout so I get more insight on the situation and I can always give you a call before hand to make sure I have all the information to make any necessary adaptation tailored to your baby.

This is a quick checklist of what you need, it is very simple:

- Be ready to relax and enjoy the moment! ;-)

- Wear comfy clothes as we will be sitting on the floor, also doing some relaxation and stretches

- A blanket to put on yoga mat so that baby can lay comfortably (yoga mats will be available but its nicer to put baby's cosy well-known blanket on top of the yoga mat)

- And of course, whatever you carry for baby when you go out (e.g. nappies, food, etc.)

I will bring demo dolls and music.

There will also be some cushions in case you need support when sitting.

We are lucky to use OneSpace Kidbrooke, on Kidbrooke Park Road, London, SE3 9YY. Free parking available. Map here.

If you are bringing a pushchair, there is plenty of space for the buggies inside (we will be in the big hall, if in doubt, ask at reception where baby yoga takes place). There are bathrooms with baby changing facilities and also a café, in case you want a drink and a bite before or after the class.
